It will be much more difficult for South Korea to restore its relations with North Korea than for the United States’ to heal its relations with Cuba because of North Korea having a much larger weapon threat than Cuba, is much more closed off and secretive than Cuba, and has a much darker past with South Korea than America did with Cuba.
Will you be able to thoroughly present an argument comparing US-Cuba relations & S.Korea-N.Korea relations in a 4 page essay? If so, you will need to work on the grammar and clarity of your thesis. If not, you may want to consider comparing international perceptions of North Korea & Cuba or international interventions intended to destabilize the regimes. Or you could look more specifically at US policy toward North Korea and Cuba. There are several directions that you may want to consider but make sure you have enough evidence from the discussions/readings and that you select a topic that can be argued in 4 pages.
